In Japan, there are these resturants that serve men (mainly, I've heard of women counterparts). Patrons get to pick their waitresses, and also buy the bottle of alcohol they're being served. The bottles (unfinished) actually remain in the resturant with the owner's name on it, so they can be served again to that person on later dates. Waitresses usually are there to look good and also offer conversation with their patron. Getting into one of these places is costly in itself, even before you add on the cost of the bottles.
